I realize this is an absurd complaint, but as i'm just not a fan of the superhero genre for some reason. (I don't know why, just none of the movies I've seen have been that enjoyable to me.) Now this *is* going to be a major news story in Israel, (you'd think we are not a place with a dearth of news, but small-country-mentality, OMG-she's-one-of-us overrides literally everything.) Superhero movies already have such a massive presence in all fannish spaces I hang out in...now i'm going to get this in the morning paper as well. Oh god.
