Too Fond of Books

I do think it depends on the kidlet and the con whether cons can be done, but Comicon would be one of the harder ones due to sheer press of people and so on. I do know some people who take their kids to cons but at any given time one parent is with the kids either in the kid-con-space or outside the con, doing kid-things, while the other one is doing whatever. And I took Drew to Conflikt this year, but that's all singing all the time (and he loves the music), a smaller con, and I still spent better than half my time near enough to hear the music but outside the actual room, soothing, comforting, feeding, etc.
