I love this show! This episode was the best yet.

A lot of capslock speculation follows, however.

First of all: SAYID IN A TUX. THANK YOU, ABC!

Second of all: FLASHFOWARD=OMGWTFBBQ!

Third: The Oceanic Six are Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Ben (a ? only because I can see him getting off the island through more nefarious means) and who else? I thought for sure it would be Sawyer, but now I'm changing my mind.

Fourth: Sayid's working for BEN?! And who is he killing off? Other folks from the Dharma Initiative? Other folks who sent the people to the Island to kill everyone? Ben's targets of assorted vendetta?!

Fifth: No Michael, even though Harold P's name was in the credits. Uhm, OK, credits.

Sixth: I totally fell for Locke's cunning plan, I do confess it.

Seventh: Will everyone on the Island die? That's my worry. Why else would hearing "The Oceanic Six" strike fear and panic into people's hearts?

Eighth: SAYID IN A TUX. AND NAKED. I <3 ABC!

Also, for the record? Ben is one of the best TV villains ever, knocking Cancer Man right off the top of my mental list. ^-^;;

Oh. Yes. *fans self*

Someone elsewhere on my friends-list has suggested that the Oceanic Six are the first wave, and the final arc-plot is going to be about them going back to get the other survivors off the island. (Except for the one of the six who died, who I'm currently thinking is Hurley. sad!) So there's still hope for others. I still have a feeling that Sawyer is headed for a tragic and redemptive death, and I'm sure that Locke will never leave the island voluntarily, but there are tons of others who want to get off. Sun and Jin, Claire and Aaron, even Juliette. And I don't think the Powers That Be would kill everyone...

But you're right about the weird reaction that Golf Course Man had about the Oceanic Six. I wonder if that was a personal thing, though? He knew he had enemies connected to the Oceanic Six,and therefore he was afraid when Sayid said who he was. I don't think that Elsa had the same reaction.

And I fell for Locke's plan too. Sayid is still the Smartest Man on the Island, but Locke is pretty darn good :)

Heh. Triple Oh Yes.

The first wave theory sounds good, but there seems to be more than that, like the Island disappeared, or everyone died, judging from the reactions of people. Elsa expressed genuine sympathy when she "heard about" Sayid's past (or perhaps she had known about it all along) and Sayid's first victim couldn't get out of there fast enough. And why would Hurley say they left too soon, if they couldn't immediately go back? Why is whiney!Jack taking planes across the Pacific to see if they'll crash? Something bad happened, I'm sure of it. Why would Ben leave?
