Lost: The Constant

May I just say?
Best episode yet!
First of all, the information about the way time passes on and off the Island is fascinating. If there's this time dichotomy, how long has the outside world been unaware of the Lostaways? And is it at a constant (har) rate, or slowing down or speeding up?
OK, so, the Island has miasma of mind-bending around it and anyone who goes near it in the wrong way ends up going crazy. So how did the Dharma Initiative find it in the first place? And what is there that they want so badly?
And was Daniel crying because when he saw the downed airplane, he knew he'd end up on Craphole Island?
I will also admit I got a little teary when Desmond finally got to talk to Penny.
You know what I really liked about this episode? Lots of secret-y plot things, but a strong enough story that it held the episode steady. Half the time I was exclaiming over little details like the Hanso foundation and theBlack (whatever the hell the name of that ship is, not the Black Pearl, I know, I know) Black Rock, but the other half of the time, I was genuinely concerned for Desmond and wanted him to get answers. And not die.

Date: 2008-03-02 03:51 am (UTC)I really like Daniel now, actually, because he's not as incompetent as I thought. I new he was smart, but I wasn't sure if he was going to prove to be useful.
So much happiness over Desmond and Penny. It was so beautiful. :)
